If sex and intimacy are so easy and common knowledge, then why are there so many books on the subject?!?
Why, Hello There and Happy HUMP DAY!!!
I’m sure this page comes as a surprise, mixed with some awkward laughter, yet maybe even a bit of curiosity… Yes, I am essentially modeling this after other modern lifestyle challenges and thought to myself, while I am not following any of those per say, I decided to create my own challenge of sorts.
HO 30 is a funny and cutesy idea I have been toying around with for a little while now, but as we know, life can be distracting and things fall off the radar. Therefore, setting aside time for things that are not a main priority tend to get less time and attention. After what has been an excruciatingly challenging year, I have decided to change up my routine. I am taking back ownership of my life that I felt I had no real control over events that were taking place. Sometimes we get stuck in a story and I was telling to myself and others that things just kept “happening to me”.
The HO 30 Challenge is essentially 30 days of passion and is meant to be a reset for the more intimate moments in life. My hope is that in doing this challenge, it will be beneficial in a variety of ways:
– First off, better communication with my mate to present the idea and commit to 30 days of love…
– Balancing daily priorities to make time for this act(s) to even be feasible…
– Becoming more healthy to maintain stamina for this increase in activity…
– So many other benefits, I’m sure!!!
Passion can be interpreted many different ways, but the intention with this challenge is simply to engage in something with my mate everyday for 30 days that helps us to connect, whether it be any form of sex, (however we define it), reading relationship books together, or simply share in an intimate conversation. I am making US a priority.
I truly have NO IDEA where this page may lead, while it is a crazy and funny idea, there is definitely a component of some realness to it too. My intention is to write a weekly post about things to make us ponder, explore, and perhaps enjoy some fun along the way. I hope that this sparks something in all of us and I want this to be a free, open, no-judgement zone, as it is such a taboo subject. I would not want someone to feel embarrassed to pose a question or share something… We get stuck in our own heads more than we even realize and hopefully this page allows us to have an open dialogue and who knows what will come of it… there is excitement in the unknown, so let’s EXPLORE!!!
