Member Sealed with a Kiss: When consulting with this person, they mentioned being stuck in a rut for quite some time now and having no idea where to begin. I suggested starting off simple, to engage in a kiss each time you pass one another. Whether leaving or entering into a room, passing by each other in the hallway or when driving together, lean in for a kiss. If we really think about it, how many kisses are we giving and receiving in a day… one in the morning, once after a day at work and perhaps again before bed… imagine increasing that to 15 times a day!!! The simple act of acknowledging one another and holding one another accountable is a great start and can do wonders. So far, so great for this couple. They report that even their kids are noticing the difference and the household feels more relaxed in just a matter of a few days!!!
Think about how many strangers or co-workers you pass by in a day and we kindly acknowledge them by opening the door, smiling and nodding, etc. Sometimes we take the presence of our loved ones for granted, so why not embrace them and show our affection at every given opportunity.
Keep up the great work ladies… this is a process of learning and being intentional with our mates on a regular basis. Give grace and keep challenging yourselves to dig deeper and push a little further. 💋
